About the Vortex Defender Objective 40 Flip Cap
The Vortex Defender O-40 is a tough, snap-open flip cap for the objective (front) lens of your optic. It fits optics with an outside diameter of 45.5-48.5 mm (1.8-1.9 in.), and its spring flips the lid fully flat so it stays out of your line of sight. Rubber-sleeved fit means no tape or shims.
