The Leupold Patrol 6HD Gen 2 1-6×24 (Leupold part #185606) is a 1-6x24mm riflescope with a 30mm main tube and an illuminated FireDot Duplex reticle in the second (rear) focal plane. The Patrol 6HD Gen 2 is a 1-6x low-power variable optic for AR-style rifles, fast like a red dot at 1x and able to reach out at 6x.

Key Features

• 1-6x magnification (6x zoom range) with a 24mm objective
• Second focal plane reticle: stays the same size and easy to see as you zoom
• Illuminated reticle with 8 brightness settings, daylight-bright
• Waterproof and fogproof, backed by Leupold’s lifetime guarantee (illumination electronics carry a separate warranty)

FireDot Duplex Reticle

The FireDot Duplex adds an illuminated center dot to Leupold’s classic Duplex. The dot pulls your eye straight to the aiming point, and multiple brightness settings let you match it to the light. See the reticle diagram in the product photos.

FAQ

What size scope rings does this scope need?

It has a 30mm main tube, so you need 30mm rings. A good match is the Leupold BackCountry Cross-Slot 30mm Medium Rings, or browse all scope rings.

What does second focal plane (SFP) mean?

The reticle sits behind the magnification lenses, so it stays the same size as you zoom. It stays bold and easy to see at low power, which is why most hunting scopes use it.
