Choose the right heat rating
This Standard High Temp model is designed for bolt-action rifles and moderate rates of fire, such as hunting, sighting in, plinking and precision practice. Armageddon says most cover failures come from rapid fire on AR-15 and other 5.56 rifles. For sustained or fast firing on a semi-auto rifle, they recommend their Extreme Hi-Temp cover instead. Either way, let your suppressor cool between strings, especially with a titanium can like the Alaskan 360 Ti.
Fit tip
Cinch the cord at the base of the mount for the best hold. If your handguard sits right up against the back of the suppressor, Armageddon recommends a custom-size cover.
