The Sons of Liberty Gun Works Scalper BCG is SOLGW’s 5.56 NATO / .223 Remington bolt carrier group, marked with the deep laser-engraved Scalper skull-and-headdress logo on the carrier and finished in black manganese phosphate. SOLGW calls the bolt carrier group the heart of the rifle, and builds it accordingly: a Carpenter 158 bolt that is shot peened, individually high-pressure tested and magnetic-particle inspected, then full-auto test fired at assembly, riding in a full-auto profile AISI 8620 carrier with a hard chrome bore.
