The Primary Arms SLx 5X MicroPrism is a compact prism optic designed to extend engagement distance while maintaining a lightweight and compact footprint. This configuration uses the ACSS Aurora 5.56/.308 yard reticle, a ballistic drop compensated reticle system engineered for fast ranging and holdovers with common 5.56 NATO and .308 Winchester loads. The reticle incorporates yard-based holdovers, wind holds, and ranging references designed to simplify target engagement at distance.
The optic uses a fixed 5× prism optical system that provides improved target identification and precision compared to lower-magnification prism optics while maintaining a compact design. The reticle is etched into the prism, allowing the optic to remain usable without battery illumination.
Illumination is powered by a CR2032 battery and offers multiple brightness levels with night-vision compatibility. The optic incorporates AutoLive motion-sensing technology, which automatically powers the optic on when movement is detected and enters sleep mode when stationary to extend battery life.
The SLx MicroPrism includes a mounting system with eight mounting height configurations to accommodate different rifle platforms. The compact housing is sealed for resistance to water, dust, and fog in field environments.
