The Primary Arms GLx 2X Prism Scope is a compact fixed-magnification optic designed to bridge the gap between non-magnified red dots and traditional magnified optics. This configuration uses the ACSS CQB-M5 5.56 reticle, which integrates bullet drop compensation, ranging references, and moving target lead indicators for rapid engagements and intermediate-distance shooting.
The optic uses a 2× prism optical system that allows both-eyes-open shooting while providing increased target identification compared to 1× optics. The reticle is etched into the glass, allowing the optic to remain usable even without illumination.
Illumination is powered by a CR2032 battery and provides 11 brightness settings including night-vision compatible levels. Battery life can reach up to 20,000 hours on medium brightness settings.
The compact housing measures 5.3 inches in length and weighs approximately 11 ounces, providing a lightweight optic suitable for carbines and rifles. The optic includes a ruggedized mounting system and is compatible with Mini-ACOG style mounts, allowing flexible mounting configurations.
